KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 06, 2026: Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of the Government Degree College for Women in Karimnagar town conducted theme-based Rangoli competitions for the students on the college premises on Tuesday.
The competitions were inaugurated by Principal D Varalakshmi. On this occasion, she said that the students had showcased their skills in drawing impressive and colourful patterns on the ground with a message. She said that the students designed colourful rangoli patterns made with a variety of materials such as flower petals and other materials.
WEC Coordinator B Rajani Devi said that theme-based competitions were conducted on women empowerment, the importance of education, social awareness, science and technology, protection of the environment from pollution and other issues.
