HYDERABAD, JULY 06, 2024: The Telangana State Education department has directed all the schools including the government and private to conduct essay writing competitions for the students before July 28 and the prizes would be awarded on Independence Day (August 15, 2024).
Following the memorandum submitted by Telangana Prajna Vikas (affiliated to Vikasa Tharangini, central committee) state president and TRSMA state chief advisor Y Shekhar Rao, the state government has instructed all the DEOs to take necessary action for the conduct of essay writing competitions for the students in all Zilla Parishad, Government and Private schools.
The Telangana Prajna Vikas in association with TRSMA has decided to conduct essay writing and drawing competitions for the students to promote patriotism among the student community. The topics include; My gratitude to My Mother Land Bharath, My Gratitude to All Those Brave Hearts who guard our borders and My gratitude to all those who freed Bharath from shackles of foreign rule.
Guidelines:
* 1st round – School level – Digital Certificate for participation
* 2nd round – District level – First Prize Rs. 6000/- Second Prize Rs. 3000/-
* 3rd round – State level – First Prize Rs. 10,000/- Second Prize Rs. 5,000/-
* The competition is open and common for students studying from 6th to 10th Class in Telugu and English Medium in Govt. and Private Schools.
* Out of three topics mentioned, any topic can be chosen by student basing on his interest.
* Two Toppers in each Category – English Essay writing, Telugu Essay writing and Drawing at School level should be forwarded to the organizers.
Note : 1. Participation Proforma of students at School Level is attached.
- Rubics for evaluation of Essay writing and drawing are attached.
* Name/Class/School Address/Mobile Number should be mentioned.
* Essay should be original and written in either English or Telugu only.
* The word limit should not exceed 2500 words.
* Written / Typed entries are allowed not exceeding 16 lines on each page.
* Use only A4 Size. All entries must be PDF or JPEG for Essay Writing and Drawing at School level prajnacompetitions@gmail.com
* Last date for Submission of Toppers at School level: 28th July, 2024
* District level competition on 2nd and 3rd of August 2024 from 2 pm to 3.30 pm District Head Quarters
* 2nd August 2024 Competitions in following Districts :
- Khammam, 2. Bhadradri Kothagudem, 3. Warangal, 4.Hanumakonda , 5. Jaya Shankar Bhupalpally, 6. Mahabubabad, 7. Mulugu, 8.Janagoan, 9. Karimnagar, 10. Rajanna Siricilla, 11. Peddapally, 12.Jagtial, 13. Adilabad, 14.Komuram bheem Asifabad, 15. Mancherial, 16. Nirmal, 17. Nizamabad, 18. Kamareddy .
* 3rd August 2024 Competitions in following Districts :
- Hyderabad, 20. Rangareddy, 21. Mechal Malkajgiri, 22. Vikarabad , 23. Nalgonda, 24. Suryapeta,
- Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, 26.Medak, 27. Sangreddy, 28. Siddipet, 29. Mahabubnagar, 30. Jogulamba Gadwal,
- Narayanpet, 32. Wanaparthy, 33. Nagarkurnool .
* State level competition on 7th August 2024 from 2 pm to 3.30 pm at JIVA Campus, Muchinthal, Shamshabad, Hyderabad.
* PRIZE DISTRIBUTION ON 15th August for all Winners – District Level.
* Certificate of Participation will be given to the entries. The certificate of participation will be sent through email only and a hard copy will not be issued. Therefore all the participants are required to provide their email address correctly.
* Write the following details on your entry, Name/Father’s name /Class /school address/Mobile No/E-mail ID.
District level winners are only eligible to participate in the State level competition.
