
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 09, 2025: Telangana Social Welfare Women’s Degree College, Nagunur, Karimnagar, celebrated Telangana Language Day grandly under the supervision of the Telugu Department. On this occasion, the college principal, T. Malathi, paid floral tributes to the portrait of Kaloji Narayana Rao and spoke about his greatness.
Kaloji led the Telangana movement and organised numerous public meetings. The Head of the Telugu Department, Erroju Venkateshwarlu, explained in detail Kaloji’s efforts to promote the Telangana language, recited some of his poems, and highlighted his literary contributions with examples.
On this occasion, students Sreeja and Anjali recited poems and verses that reflected the uniqueness of the Telangana language and sang songs praising its greatness.
Vice Principal S. Padmaja, Superintendent Suresh, ACO Vasumathi, Shankarayya, Venkateshwarlu, Kavitha, Renuka, Geetha Rani, Radhika, Kalyani, Rajitha, Swapna, Mamatha, along with other lecturers and students, actively participated in the programme.
