KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 06, 2025: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College, Nagunur, Karimnagar, grandly celebrated the birth anniversary of Telangana ideologue, Acharya Kothapalli Jayashankar. The event was presided over by the college principal, T. Malathi. She paid floral tributes to Professor Jayashankar, the father of Telangana, by garlanding his portrait and showing her respect.
On this occasion, the Head of the Telugu Department, Erroju Venkateshwarlu, delivered a speech highlighting the efforts made by Jayashankar for the achievement of Telangana and elaborated on his ideals and principles. He urged students to follow in his footsteps and aim for higher goals.
Vice Principals Padmaja and Vasumathi, Cultural Committee members Praveetha and Renuka, faculty members Shankaraiah, Geetharani, Jahnavi, and a large number of students participated in the programme.
