HYDERABAD, AUGUST 14, 2025: The Telangana state government has extended the terms of chairpersons of District Cooperative Central Banks (DCCBs), PACS and TGCAB until further orders and accordingly, a GO number 386 dated August 14, 2025 was issued.
The Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank (TGSCAB) provides leadership and refinance support to the DCCBs, aiming to provide timely and adequate credit facilities to farmers and other rural populations through Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) affiliated with the DCCBs.
TSCAB acts as a balancing centre for the resources of the cooperatives in the state and as an investment agency for DCCBs. The DCCBs are regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, but they are not operated by the government.
