KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 31, 2024: The Telangana Employees Association (TEA) Karimnagar district unit has urged the government to abolish the contributory pension scheme (CPS) and reintroduce old pension scheme (OPS).
In a statement here on Saturday, TEA district president MA Khadeer said that the CPS was introduced in the integrated Andhra Pradesh state from September 1, 2024. But, some of the states were abolishing the CPS and introducing OPS, he said and urged the Telangana government to reintroduce OPS for the benefit of the employees and teachers.
