HANAMKONDA, MARCH 26, 2026: Students of Vaagdevi Degree and P.G. College, Hanamkonda, delivered an outstanding performance at Avishkar, a State-Level Commerce and Business Management Students’ Meet organised by Alphores Women’s Degree and PG College in Karimnagar town, by securing an impressive 11 prizes along with the Overall Championship Trophy.
The highlight of the event was the college winning the Overall Performance Trophy, marking a proud and significant achievement. This victory reflects the students’ consistent excellence across multiple competitive events and their strong team spirit.
Among the major accomplishments, O. Navya Sri (BBA Finance, 6th Semester) was honoured with the prestigious Young Manager Award. In the 4P’s of Marketing event, Santhosh (BBA RO, 4th Semester) secured First Prize, while M. Bhanu, N. Shalini, O. Navya Sri, and Momina Habiba (BBA Finance, 6th Semester) emerged as Runners-up.

The team of N. Shalini, M. Bhanu, Momina Habiba, and O. Navya Sri also excelled in the SWOT PPT Presentation, securing top honours. D. Shiva (BBA Finance, 6th Semester) won First Prize in Ad Mania, adding to the college’s success.
In other events, Raheem, Akshay Bharadwaj, Uday Kiran, and Nevil (BBA, 4th Semester) secured the Runners-up position in the Debate. At the same time, Sai Raj (B.Com, 2nd Year) achieved runner-up in the Case Study competition.
Creative talents were equally celebrated, with Purna (BBA, 4th Semester) winning First Prize in Chithrakala (Painting). The Fashion Show team, comprising Ganyun, Dinakar, Arun Kumar, Usha Sri (2nd Year), Afreen (BBA RO, 1st Year), Snigdha (B.Com CA, 1st Year), Akshaya (B.Com CA, 1st Year), and Jyoti Roy (BBA LO, 1st Year) secured top honours.
The college also dominated group events, with BBA and B.Com 1st & 2nd Year Girls winning both Tug of War and Ring Game competitions. Additionally, Raheem (BBA, 4th Semester) was recognised as Campus Ambassador.
Winning the Overall Championship stands as a testament to the dedication, preparation, and teamwork of the students. Their collective efforts have brought great pride to the institution.
