KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 13, 2025: As a paragon of developing a humanistic society, students of the Trinity, the School of Learning, Salehnagar, Karimnagar, visited Bhavitha Old Age home in Padmanagar of Karimnagar town on Saturday.
Organisers of the Old-Age home welcomed the students and enlightened them about various problems faced by the elderly because of the weakened socio-cultural fabric. They also spoke about the proliferation of issues pertaining to the aged, which were often overlooked.
The wizened residents of the home enjoyed the visit and appreciated the cultural show and gifts. The students pledged to work for educating society about the problems and needs of senior citizens.
The visit was encouraged and supported by the Chairman, Dasari Prashanth Reddy, Director, Dasari Mamatha Reddy and Principal Ratnamala. The experience helped the children understand the value of helping those in need and expressing love, care, and respect towards the elderly. The students interacted with the senior citizens and listened to their stories with rapt attention.
As part of this humanitarian activity, teachers and students actively participated by distributing fruits, groceries, vegetables, bedsheets, warm woollen clothes and other essential items.
