RAJANNA-SRICILLA, MARCH 14, 2026: As part of the three-day Confluence 2K26 celebrations held at the Social Welfare Residential Women’s Military Degree College, Bhongir District, located in Deshmukhi Village of Bhoodan Pochampally Mandal, competitions in sports, literary, cultural activities, and scientific talent exhibitions were organised for students from 30 colleges.
As part of these competitions, in the Arcade Competition category, the Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College, Sircilla secured the Second Place in the Overall Championship. The college received a cash prize of ₹15,000 for this achievement.
In the Folk Song category, R. Maheshwari, a final-year MPCS student, secured First Place and received the award from renowned singer Geetha Madhuri.
Similarly, M. Amuktamalyada, a final-year student of Design and Technology, secured Third Place in the Click and Creator category. She received the award from PSR Sharma, Joint Secretary, Nandini Agasara, Indian Heptathlete
Another final-year Design and Technology student, C. Priyanka, displayed garments designed by herself representing Indian Culture, Unity in Diversity, and Indo-Western Culture in the Fashion category, which received appreciation from the dignitaries present.
The Principal, K. Lavanya, and Vice-Principal, B. Sumalatha, congratulated the students who participated in these competitions as well as the Cultural Committee members. On this occasion, Principal Lavanya stated that the students should achieve many more successes in the future and excel in all fields and wished them good luck in their future endeavours.
