RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JANUARY 09, 2025: Students of Government Degree and PG College in Gambhiraopet of Rajannas-Sircilla district traditionally celebrated the Sankranthi festivities by letting their creativity flow with Rangoli and traditional patterns on Thursday.
The college was transformed into a rural setting with colourful rangolies, decorating the campus with flowers and mango leaves. The girl students dressed up in the traditional attire while the boys donned the garb of Haridasu and the kite flying.
College principal V Vijaya Lakshmi explained the importance of the Sankranthi festival. She congratulated the students for their colourful Rangolies with lots of creativity. Women Empower Committee coordinator Vani, NSS Programme Officer Dharmapuri, TSKC coordinator Sravan, Adivishnu, teaching and non-teaching were also present.
