

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 16, 2025: Students of Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, Karimnagar, vowed to observe an eco-friendly Diwali by traditionally celebrating the festival of lights and shunning crackers.
The students also come forward to associate with a campaign launched by the administration to sensitise all stakeholders about the potential risks involved in handling and bursting fireworks.
As part of the celebrations, the School celebrated early Diwali to sensitise the students about festivities and discourage pollution-causing crackers on Thursday. Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy launched the celebrations by offering prayers to Goddess Mahalakshmi.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Reddy informed the students of the need to prevent the degradation of the environment by shunning crackers on Diwali and other festivals. Besides making a formal appeal to observe a green Diwali, crusaders highlighted the necessity of reverting to the traditional manner of celebrating the festival by lighting earthen oil lamps.
