

Whisking Up Creativity: A Hands-On Baking Workshop at Advita
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 25, 2024: Advita International School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, conducted an exciting two-day workshop on “Bake a Cake”, featuring Guest Chef, Ms Pari Nankani, who showcased the art of baking a cake from scratch was held on Friday. Students from grades 3 and 4 participated enthusiastically, making this event a wonderful blend of creativity and learning.
In preparation for the workshop, students designed chef hats using recycled paper, integrating craft with sustainability. The project also included lessons in mathematics, as students measured ingredients, while English skills were enhanced through vocabulary building and note-taking. The integration of ICT was evident as students were presented with Canva and Power point presentations to organize the baking processes.
Mr. Anudeep Sowgani, the director of the school, expressed his pride in the workshop, emphasizing its role in encouraging creativity and experiential learning. He highlighted the importance of hands-on activities in moulding well-rounded individuals. Principal Ms. Madhuri Swetha commended the English department for coming forward with the concept of integration through this workshop for holistic development, allowing students to learn and enjoy.
Overall, the “Bake a Cake” workshop was a booming success, inspiring students to explore their culinary skills while reinforcing essential academic concepts. We look forward to more engaging activities in the future!
