KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 20, 2024: Chemistry department of SRR Government Arts and Science college (autonomous), Karimnagar town, organised a field visit to NIT Warangal on Tuesday to enrich students learning experience.
The students of BSc and MSc chemistry courses visited the NIT Warangal as part exposure visit to the premier educational institutions and learn about the working procedures of laboratories. They observed working procedures and applications of various instruments like NMR, FTIR, HRMS, and UV -VISIBLE spectroscopy used in structural characterization of synthesized compounds in chemistry research.
They also exposed to the instruments like ICPO-ES used in Metallurgy and XRD, SEM, EDS used in Nano Chemistry. Incharge Department of Chemistry M Sridhar, K Bhaskar, G Srinivas, GVR Sai Madhukar, B Mahipal Reddy, I Gopi and B Prameela and Degree and PG Chemistry Students participated. Principal K Ramakrishna appreciated the department of chemistry for organising the field visit and expressed thanks to NIT Warangal for giving this opportunity.
