KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 06, 2025: Principal of SRR Government Autonomous Degree College Prof. Kalvakunta Ramakrishna advised the students of Commerce and Business Administration to set high goals, maintain punctuality, and work with dedication and a positive attitude to reach great heights in their careers.
The Department of Commerce and Business Administration of SRR Government Autonomous Degree College organised a grand Fresher’s Day celebration titled “Novato Fiesta”, which was inaugurated by Prof. Kalvakunta Ramakrishna, Principal of the College.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal stated that Commerce and BBA students have immense employment and career opportunities. He encouraged them to enhance their subject knowledge and develop relevant skills to secure respectable positions in the professional world.
HoD Department of Commerce and Business Administration T. Rajaiah noted that the Government has recently introduced employment-oriented courses such as Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) and B.Com (Retail Operations) to help students develop necessary professional skills. He urged the students to make the best use of these opportunities to gain knowledge, skills, and secure jobs. He also inspired them to become entrepreneurs who can generate employment opportunities for others.
Programme Coordinator M Malla Reddy highlighted that Commerce graduates have vast career prospects in business, trade, industry, banking, and insurance sectors, and encouraged students to utilize these opportunities to achieve higher positions in life.
The cultural programs that followed the formal function greatly entertained the audience. Students showcased their talents through dances, songs, skits, and ramp walks, making the event vibrant and memorable.

Rajayya, Autonomous Coordinator and Staff Club Secretary M Srinivasa Reddy, IQAC Coordinator Harjyoth Kaur, Program Coordinator M. Malla Reddy, Heads of various departments Burla Venkateshwarlu, N.
