

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 18, 2025: The Department of Commerce & Business Administration, SRR Government Arts & Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) on Saturday.
The collaboration aims to strengthen industry–academia linkage by providing students with hands-on exposure to banking operations, digital financial services, and customer relationship management through internships and practical training at IPPB branches.
As part of this initiative, a certificate distribution ceremony was organised for BBA students who completed their internship at India Post Payments Bank.
The programme was held in the college and graced by Madhu Mohan Kandhi, Senior Manager, Koluguri, Revathi, Manager, Ch Srinivas, Executive of IPPB; Principal Prof K Ramakrishna, T Rajaiah, Head, Dept. of Commerce & Business Administration, Surender Reddy, TGCGTA State Secretary, BBA Incharge, Harjoth Kaur, M Malla Reddy, Ramkrishna, M Srinivas Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries appreciated the students for their commitment and emphasised the importance of experiential learning in bridging the gap between classroom knowledge and industry expectations. The MoU is expected to pave the way for future collaborative activities, including workshops, guest lectures, and joint research initiatives.
One of the BBA students, Thaidala Mayuri, said, “Working at India Post Payments Bank helped me understand how banking really works. I learned how to deal with customers and handle financial transactions. It was a great experience that improved my confidence and knowledge.”
The event was coordinated by Aravind, Shirisha, Narmada, Poornachander, Abhilash, Gowtami, Raju, Mallesham, Shirisha, Ilaiah, Ramulu, Department of Commerce & Business Administration. Faculty members and students participated enthusiastically.
