KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 24, 2025: IQAC in association with the Department of Commerce and Business Administration of SRR government arts and science college, (autonomous), Karimnagar, conducted a national webinar on Generative Artificial intelligence and Challenges in Higher Education today through Zoom platform on Friday.
As many as 169 participants from all over India and a few from countries like Fiji registered and participated online. College principal K Ramakrishna presided over the function. T Rajaiah, HoD of the Dept of Commerce and Business Administration co-chaired the session. Chetan Shrivastava, School of Business Management, University of Hyderabad delivered a keynote address focussing on various issues and challenges in Higher Education. He highlighted potential tools like ChatGPT, etc to enhance learning experiences, academic integrity, ethical considerations, digital literacy etc.
Leveraging GAI tools can help higher education institutions significantly enhance efficiency and improve outcomes across academic endeavors. Harjoth Kaur, IQAC coordinator facilitated the online session by putting queries to be answered beautifully. Karunakar, Rajesham, Ashok, Swaroopa Rani, Taher Hussain, Somanarsaiah, Chandrashekhar, Ramakrishna, Naresh, Aravind, Shireesha, Narmada, Shirisha, Vidya, Nagaraj and other faculty members were present.
