PEDDAPALLI, JULY 03, 2024: Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu along with Peddapalli MLA Ch Vijayaramana Rao has formally launched the Vanamahotsavam programme by planting the saplings on the campus of the Government Degree College in Pedda Kalwala on the outskirts of Peddapalli town on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister called upon all sections of society to participate in the Vanamahotsavam programme and plant the saplings and nurture its growth for the protection of environment from pollution. Stating that they would distribute saplings to each and every household in Peddapalli town, he urged the authorities concerned to take measures to avoid plantation of saplings under the electricity lines. Municipal chairperson, ZPTCs, forest officials, DRDO, and others participated in the programme.
