KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 12, 2026: Annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Lakshmi, Padmavathi samnetha Venkateshwara Swamy temple at Market road in Karimnagar town would be held from January 23 to 30.
Accordingly, Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar conducted a review meeting with the officials on the temple premises on Monday. Collector Pamela Satpathy said that the district administration was taking all measures for the successful conduct of Brahmotsavams. She said that they were taking all measures for the uninterrupted power supply, sanitation, medical camp and conduct of cultural programmes.

However, the organisers and people of the town are a little worried over the success of the festivities due to the clash of the Brahmotsavams with the prestigious and biennial Samakka-Sarakka jatara in Medaram and various parts of the district, including Karimnagar town at Housing board colony and Rekurthi. The Medaram jatara would be conducted from January 28 to 31.
