
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 25, 2025: Sravana masam festivities begins at Alphores e-techno school in Kothapalli on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Friday.
Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy has formally launched the celebrations by offering prayers to Goddess Saraswathi. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Reddy enlightened the importance of the auspicious Sravana month, which is very dear to Lord Shiva, and several festivals are celebrated during this month.
Stating that the womenfolk would perform several special pujas during this month for the wellness of their families, he said that during this month, Varalaxmi vratham, Nagula Panchami, Raksha bandhan, Sri Krishna asthami and other festivals are celebrated. He also said that womenfolk and others visit temples on all Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays as part of Sravana month celebrations.
The students also presented colourful cultural programmes, educating the importance of Sravana masam festivities in their best traditional attire.
