
RAMAGUNDAM, JUNE 14, 2025: As a prelude to the International Yoga Day scheduled to be held on June 21, a six-day Yoga Camp was inaugurated on Saturday (June 14, 2025) at Jyothi Function Hall under the leadership of Chandan Kumar Samanta, Executive Director (R&T), and Rakhi Samanta, President, DMS. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp.
This week-long camp is scheduled from 14th to 20th June 2025 and is open to all employees and their family members. The initiative aims to promote holistic well-being through the regular practice of yoga.
In his inaugural address, Mr Chandan Kumar Samanta emphasised the vital role of yoga in maintaining both physical and mental health. He encouraged all participants to incorporate yoga into their daily routine for a healthier and more balanced life.
Mr A. Vijaya Kumar is leading the sessions as the yoga trainer. The camp has witnessed enthusiastic participation from General Managers, Heads of Departments, DMS members, employees, and their families. Over 100 individuals have joined the camp, reflecting a growing awareness and commitment to health and wellness.
