
HYDERABAD, JULY 22, 2025: To inculcate leadership qualities among students and to provide them with a first-hand experience of the responsibilities and functioning of an administrative body, Sister Niveditha School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, conducted its investiture ceremony for the academic session 2025–26.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a soulful prayer, paying homage to the Founder Chairman Velchala Kondal Rao, current Chairman Dr Sudhakar Polasani, and Dr Ramadevi Polasani, alongside invoking the blessings of the Almighty — a sacred beginning to a leadership journey rooted in tradition and gratitude.
The ceremony commenced with pride as the newly appointed leaders were bestowed with their responsibilities in a solemn and prestigious event. Head boy Kolluri Sanjeev and Head Girl Sasha Ratna M and other groups assumed charge on the occasion.
Principal Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari warmly welcomed the gathering, expressing joy at witnessing a new generation take up the mantle of leadership. The management, staff, and students extended a gracious welcome to the distinguished Chief Guest Dr. Nandu Gourineni, renowned Cardiologist from the USA (MD, FACC), and Guest of Honour Mrs. Niharika Gourineni, esteemed Advisory Board Member of the school.
A captivating welcome dance set the stage for the day’s celebrations. The highlight of the event was the conferring of badges to the newly elected School Heads, House Captains, and Club Leaders by Dr. Nandu Gourineni and Mrs. Niharika Gourineni. The solemn moment stood as a symbol of trust, responsibility, and the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership rooted in values.
The school choir’s harmonious performance uplifted the spirits of all present, followed by a thought-provoking address by student leader Md. Mujtaba Shahan, emphasizing the vision, duty, and service expected from the student council.
A skit titled “Journey Through Leadership” creatively captured the essence of selfless leadership and team spirit. The formal Investiture of Club Members reaffirmed the school’s dedication to holistic education and empowering students beyond academics.
The Oath-Taking Ceremony saw the student leaders pledge to serve with sincerity, integrity, and courage. Their Acceptance Speech was heartfelt, filled with gratitude and a strong sense of purpose. Adding colour and energy, a rejoice dance celebrated the joy of leadership and responsibility.
Chief Guest Dr. Nandu Gourineni, in his keynote address, shared valuable insights drawn from his global experience, urging students to strive for excellence, empathy, and resilience. Chairman Sri Sudhakar Polasani and Correspondent Rtn. Hari Hara Prasad offered inspiring words of encouragement and blessings, commending the school’s role in shaping tomorrow’s leaders.
The event culminated with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Prateeba Rameshwaram, expressing heartfelt appreciation to the dignitaries, staff, students, and organisers for making the event a grand success.
