HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 21, 2024: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited as regularized the service of 2349 Badili workers as General Mazdoors.
Accordingly, the orders to this effect were issued by SCCL Chairman and MD N Balaram on Monday. The Badili workers who have put in at least 190 days in underground mines and 240 days in opencast mines and other wings were regularized as General Mazdoors with retrospective effect from September 1, 2024.
Most of the dependents taken as Badili workers have good academic qualification and after their regularisation as General Mazdoors would enable them get promotions by participating in the internal exams conducted by the company.
Among the services regularized, a total of 662 workers were from Srirampur area, Ramagundam-1 area 552, Bhupalapalli 467, Mandamarri 310, Adriala Longwall project 218, RG-3 area 50, corporate office 25, Manuguru 19, RG-2 area 12, Kothagudem 16, Illendu and Bellampalli areas 9 each.
