HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 28, 2025: Employment — The Dream of Every Job Seeker! Even for those with the right qualifications, finding a job is not guaranteed despite visiting multiple companies in Hyderabad. In such a scenario, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has provided employment opportunities by bringing prominent Hyderabad-based companies directly to the doorsteps of urban and rural youth by allowing them to secure suitable jobs based on their educational qualifications.
Filling unemployed youth with new hope, Singareni has been relentlessly conducting Mega Job Mela programs for the past six months, providing employment to nearly 24,000 young people and infusing them with renewed enthusiasm.
A Modest Contribution from Singareni to the State Government’s Mission
The state government is committed to creating employment opportunities for unemployed youth, not only in the public sector but also in the private sector. Through the Mega Job Mela programs, this vision is being successfully realised.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister & Energy Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and Singareni Collieries Company Limited has organised job fairs in 7 towns over the last six months. In this job melas overall 66,965 unemployed youth participated out of this 23,650 have secured jobs — a remarkable achievement.
This is perhaps the first time such large-scale job fairs have been conducted and such a vast number of youth have been employed. Candidates ranging from 7th class education to postgraduate qualifications, including those with technical, medical and paramedical backgrounds, found suitable job opportunities here.

In each job fair, 100 to 250 private companies from the Hyderabad region were participated, providing employment to the youth. Extensive publicity through announcements, posters, pamphlets, and WhatsApp groups attracted youth even from remote villages and towns, turning urban centers into festive zones during the events.
Job seekers and local representatives expressed appreciation for Singareni’s arrangements, noting that all facilities were provided smoothly and efficiently.
The Ministers and Public Representatives played a Major Role in the Success of the melas
Local ministers and public representatives took these job fairs as a matter of prestige and ensured wide publicity in every village, resulting in massive youth participation.
The first job fair began on April 21 in Madhira, led by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu. About 5,000 people attended, and 2,300 secured jobs. On April 27, in Bhupalpally, under the leadership of MLA Sri Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, 3,500 participated and 2,000 got jobs.
On May 18, a job fair was held in Godavarikhani, where 5,100 unemployed youth attended and 3,029 got employment. MLA Makan Singh Raj Thakur, Government Advisor Harkara Venugopala Rao and SCCL C&MD N. Balram also attended the event.
On May 24, in Wyra, under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, more than 12,000 people participated in a job mela and 4,041 secured jobs. MLA Malothu Ramdas Naik and SCCL C&MD N. Balram were also present.
On October 25, in Huzurnagar, under the leadership of Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, a massive job fair witnessed the participation of 20,500 youth, of whom 4,574 secured employment.
On October 26 (Sunday), a Mega Job Mela was organised in Sathupalli (Khammam district), where 14,318 youth participated and 4,611 got jobs. Khammam MP Ramasahayam Raghurama Reddy and Sathupalli MLA Ragamayee attended as chief guests. On the same day, in Bellampalli, MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna and MLA Gaddam Vinod presided over another mega job fair, 6,547 people participated, out of this 3,095 got employment.

Praise Everywhere for Singareni’s Arrangements
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, Singareni extended complete support to these massive job fair programs. The company took care of stalls setup, publicity, meals, facilities for visiting company representatives from Hyderabad, drinking water arrangements, and coordinated services through Singareni officers, staff, security, and rescue teams. Participants and public representatives especially appreciated these efforts.
SCCL C&MD N. Balram stated that Singareni will continue to provide full support to social welfare programs in Singareni regions and surrounding areas. He also announced that special support would be extended to upcoming job fairs as well, thereby contributing to the employment of local youth and the state government’s vision. He revealed that new Mega Job Melas will soon be held in Kothagudem, Illandu, Manuguru, and Asifabad regions.
