All Candidates from Telangana are Eligible. Opportunity for Those Who Could Not Apply Earlier, said SCCL CMD N Balram
HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 18, 2025: Good news for candidates from Telangana who have been selected for the Civil Services Interviews. SCCL CMD N. Balram stated on Tuesday that all eligible candidates selected for the Civil Services Interviews may apply for the ₹1 lakh financial assistance under the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastam scheme, launched by the State Government with the support of Singareni.
He clarified that those who had earlier qualified for the Mains and already received the ₹1 lakh assistance need not apply again. He further stated that any other candidate from Telangana who has qualified for the Interviews will also be provided this financial support.
Several candidates had represented that they were unable to apply earlier due to lack of information, even though they had been selected for the Civils Interviews and requested that they too be granted financial assistance. In this context, the CMD revealed that the opportunity is now being extended to them as well.
Eligible candidates have been requested to submit their applications and required details at the Hyderabad Singareni Bhavan by the 21st of this month. He added that the second phase of the ₹1 lakh assistance will soon be provided to all eligible candidates.
