Code Unnati prepares students towards employability and future readiness
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 24, 2024: The CSR initiative of SAP Labs India, Code Unnati, has set up a centre of excellence in Jyothishmati Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) (autonomous) in collaboration with Edunet foundation and the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) in Karimnagar on Wednesday.
SAP Labs India’s Code Unnati, recently took a significant step forward in promoting skill development and employability among the youth by announcing its expansion into the State. Accordingly, the Centre of Excellence was set up in JITS on the outskirts of Karimnagar town.
The Code Unnati programme underscores the importance of industry-relevant skills in preparing individuals for the future of work, eventually creating pathways towards employability and future readiness for both faculty and students.
The initiative provides high-end infrastructure to collaborating engineering college and offers technical training to students on emerging technologies such as Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, Cloud computing, Computer Vision, the Internet of Things, SAP BTP and ABAP. The programme is designed for the second year, pre-final and final year students.
Accordingly a two-day orientation programme was inaugurated at the JITS campus on Wednesday. Resource Persons from Edunet foundation Chandika Mohan (senior technical manager) and Sumit Sunil (Master trainer) empowered the students on various issues. They would conduct a screening assessment on interest level and basic programming competencies were the selected third year and final year will go through advance course and second year students will do the foundation course. JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, Principal Dr KS Rao, Dean Vaishali, CSE head Jagadesan and others were also present.
