RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JUNE 16, 2024: Sandeep Kumar Jha has took charge as the new Collector of Rajanna-Sircilla district on Sunday. Earlier, he visited Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada and offered special prayers before assuming the charge.
He was received by Additional Collectors Pujari Gautami and Kheemya Naik, Temple EO Ramakrishna. Mr Jha was accorded a traditional welcome at the temple shrine amid chanting of vedic hymns by the priests. He assured charge as the Collector at the integrated Collectorate complex in Sircilla textile town. On this occasion, several district officials greeted the collected and presented him flower bouquets and flower pots.
Mr Jha is the IAS officer belonging to 2014 batch and was working with Transco as Joint Managing Director before being posted as Collector Rajanna-Sircilla district in place of Anuraag Jayanthi, who is transferred and posted as Karimnagar Collector.
