KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 11, 2024: Rich tributes were paid to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, the great social reformer, on the occasion of his 198th birth anniversary in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Collector Pamela Satpathy has garlanded the statue of Phule in Karimnagar town and paid floral tributes. Karimnagar Municipal Commissioner B Srinivas also participated in paying tributes to Jyotiba.
Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar along with his supporters also garlanded the statue of Phule and paid tributes. On this occasion, the leaders recollected the contributions made by Phule for social justice and empowering the downtrodden community.
At TSRTC Karimnagar bus station complex, Karimnagar RTC regional executive director C Vinod Kumar, Regional Manager S Sucharita, Deputy RM S Bhupathi Reddy, and other officials paid floral tributes to the portrait of Jyotiba Phule and recollected his services for the empowerment of the poor.
