They flay MCK for failing to construct drainage despite collecting taxes and obtaining all permissions for the apartment
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2025: Residents of Sri Enclave Apartment in Ayodhyapuri colony in Malkapur of Karimnagar town have found fault with the closure of the 30-feet government road by the other plot owners by digging with poclain excavator on Sunday morning.
The Apartment was constructed with all permissions from the Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar, and 14 families reside on the premises, and they were using 30 feet road provided by the government. As the MCK had failed to construct a drainage system for the residents, the Apartment people had constructed a ‘water harvesting structure’ and diverted the drainage water.
The Apartment residents were taking all measures for avoiding spillover of the drain water on the road by constructing the ‘water harvesting structure’. Recently, the water was coming onto the road. Irked over this, the other residents of the locality had attacked the residents of the Sri Enclave apartment and a criminal case was also registered in the Kothapalli police station.

Freshly on Sunday morning, the residents of the colony had allegedly closed the road by digging with a poclain, denying free movement of the Apartment residents. The Apartment residents had lodged a complaint with the MCK, but in vain.
The Apartment residents said that the MCK had issued all permissions, including occupancy certificates and even collecting the property taxes from the apartment residents. When the government has accorded permission for the Apartment and collected property and other taxes, why not take measures for the construction of drainage and why remain silent with the other residents taking law into their hands, the apartment residents questioned.
