JAGTIAL, JANUARY 09, 2026: The NCC, NSS and Women Empowerment cell of SKNR Government Arts and Science College conducted rangoli competitions for the students, ahead of the Sankranthi festivities, on Friday.
The Rangoli competitions were organised exclusively for women students, and all women students of the college participated with great enthusiasm. The college campus was filled with a festive atmosphere as colourful and attractive rangoli designs adorned the campus. The students beautifully showcased their creativity and interest in traditional art forms.
At the conclusion of the competitions, prizes were distributed to the winners by the College Principal, Professor A. Ashok. Addressing the gathering, he appreciated the active participation of women students in such cultural programmes and emphasised that preserving traditional arts is a collective responsibility.
All women students actively participated and made the programme a grand success. The event was successfully coordinated by the NCC, NSS, and the Women Empowerment Cell.
The programme witnessed the presence of the Vice Principal and NSS Programme Officer Srinivas; NCC Officer Lieutenant P. Raju; NSS Programme Officers K. Srinivas, A. Govardhan, Sai Madhukar; faculty members K. E. Surendra; Librarian Divya Rani; and staff members Gattaiah, Rajitha, Kavitha, Supriya, Naresh, and P. Srinivas. NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, and students participated in large numbers and contributed to the successful conduct of the Rangoli competitions.
