

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 08, 2025: Students of Blue Bells High School, Hanuman Nagar in Karimnagar, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit on Friday.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the school’s Principal, Mrs. Janga Sunitha Manohar Reddy. This festival, symbolising the affectionate bond between brothers and sisters, saw sisters tying rakhis to their brothers, wishing them good health, long life, and happiness. The historical significance and traditional values of Raksha Bandhan were explained to the students.
Teachers, students, and the Principal actively participated in the celebrations. Rakhis were distributed to everyone, encouraging love and protection among brothers and sisters. Later, the students raised slogans such as, “I protect you – you protect me – together we protect our nation.”
The school premises were beautifully decorated with colorful themes. The program featured songs, poems, and short plays, making it even more attractive. Some students delivered speeches highlighting the cultural and social importance of Raksha Bandhan. Parents also attended and enjoyed the children’s cultural performances.
Thus, the Raksha Bandhan festival, reflecting love, affection, unity, and the spirit of sibling bonds, was celebrated with great success at Blue Bells School.
