
KARMNAGAR, AUGUST 08, 2025: Students of Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar town, celebrated the Raksha Bandhan festival with great enthusiasm on Friday.
On this occasion, the girl students tied Rakhees to the boys to showcase brother and sister relations.
Speaking on the occasion, School director Ch Venkateswarlu enlightened the students on the significance of Raksha Bandhan festival and said that Raksha Bandhan is a sacred festival that commemorates the bond and love between siblings. This festival is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the month of Shravanam. On this occasion, a sister ties a Rakhee to her brother and wishes him happiness and good health in his life. Also, a brother promises to protect his sister and always be with her.
Later, School principal Ch Pallavi said that Rakhee Poornima is a symbol of the love and affection between brothers and sisters. She said that by organising this program, family values will be made known to the students.
