
HYDERABAD, JULY 12, 2025: The state-level Rajanisri literary award-2025 was presented to Mallareddy Murali Mohan from Srikakulam for his book on compilation of poems titled ‘Nishachardi Diwaswapnam’ at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Former State Election Commissioner of Telangana C Parthasarathi has presented the award, which carries a Rs 11,000 cash prize, a memento and a shawl. He also congratulated the winner for his compilation of poems, which are thought-provoking.
The award was instituted by Mahatma Jyothibha Phule, Telangana BC Welfare residential schools joint secretary, GV Shyam Prasad Lal, in memory of his father Rajani Sri. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shyam Prasad Lal said that he had instituted the award in memory of his father, who had crusaded for the promotion of art, literature and culture.
National Sahitya Parishath, Karimnagar district, president Gajula Ravinder presided over the meeting. Osmania University Telugu department former head Prof Kasireddy Venkat Reddy, Telangana Language and Culture department Director Mamidi Harikrishna, Daivagna Sharma, Karimnagr film society president Ponnam Ravichandra, eminent poets Vadluri Anjaneya Raju, Gandra Laxmam Rao. OU assistant professor Raghu, poets Annavaram Devender, Nandi Srinivas, Suryanarayana Murthy, KS Anantha Charya and others were also present.
