
NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 06, 2025: President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday led the nation in paying tribute to B R Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary at the Parliament House complex.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi also joined the top leaders at the Prerana Sthal, where floral tributes were offered to the architect of the Indian Constitution.
“On Mahaparinirvan Diwas, I pay my humble tributes to Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, the principal architect of our Constitution and a towering champion of social justice,” Vice-President Radhakrishnan posted on X.
The Prime Minister said that Dr Ambedkar’s unwavering commitment to justice, equality and constitutionalism continues to guide India’s national journey. He noted that generations have drawn inspiration from Dr Ambedkar’s dedication to upholding human dignity and strengthening democratic values.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that Dr Ambedkar’s ideals will continue to illuminate the nation’s path as the country works towards building a Viksit Bharat.
The Prime Minister wrote on X;
