KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 18, 2026: The Pre-Ugadi celebrations were held with great splendour at St George Nino’s Block schools in various parts of Karimnagar town, welcoming the auspicious spring season.
School Chairman P Fatima Reddy attended the event as the Chief Guest. The program beautifully reflected the essence of Telugu culture and traditions. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Reddy stated, “The primary objective of these celebrations is to introduce our festivals and their profound inner meaning to children in these changing times.” He extended his heartfelt wishes for a prosperous ‘Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram’ to everyone.
The traditional Ugadi Pachadi was prepared and served to the students while explaining the significance behind its six distinct tastes, such as sweet, sour, bitter, spicy and others. The entire Ninos Block was decorated with mango leaf festoons and vibrant rangolis, recreating the nostalgic charm of a traditional village setting.
