
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 20, 2025: Pre-Bathukamma celebrations were joyfully organised on Saturday at the Venkataraopally Primary High School. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of female teachers, students, and the local community. Dressed in traditional attire, the participants sang Bathukamma songs and celebrated the cultural spirit of Telangana.
On this occasion, the school’s Headmistress, Jyothirmayi, explained the significance of the Bathukamma festival, highlighting its origins and how it is celebrated with great splendor across Telangana.
The programme was further enriched with the active participation of Anganwadi workers Hemalatha and Bhagya, along with teachers Geetha, Srilatha, Karunakar, Ravinder, Anjaneyulu, and many villagers, who together ensured the event’s grand success. The celebrations reflected the cultural heritage and unity of the community, spreading festive cheer among all.
Parents’ Meeting Held at Primary Upper School, Venkatraopalli
A parents’ meeting was organised at the Primary Upper School, Venkatraopalli, on Saturday. The meeting was presided over by the Headmistress, Jyotirmayi, who addressed parents on the importance of monitoring the academic progress of their children.
She also emphasised the need for safety precautions during the upcoming Dussehra holidays, particularly advising parents to caution their children about staying safe near wells. Additionally, she suggested that students dedicate at least one hour each day to study during the holiday period to maintain continuity in learning.
The meeting witnessed active participation from the local community. Dayakar Rao, Gram Panchayat Secretary of Venkatraopalli, attended the session along with parents and teachers. Prominent attendees included Shama, Dattu, Geetha, Srilatha, Devishetti Anjaneyulu, Karunakar, and Ravindar.
The gathering concluded with a collective resolve to work towards the academic development and safety of children, ensuring their all-around growth both at school and at home.
