
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2025: The Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Nagunur, Karimnagar, celebrated its 24th annual day celebrations on its premises on Sunday evening.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar participated as the chief guest. The programme was presided over by PIMS chairman Boinapalli Srinivas Rao.
On this occasion, Mr Bandi Sanjay lauded the services of PIMS for providing medical services to the rural masses for the past 24 years. He felicitated the students who excelled in their academics, presenting them with gold medals.
The medals presented include: Karre Gayatri, best outgoing student of the college (2018-19 batch) with a blue ribbon, gold medal and a cash prize of Rs one lakh.
Best outgoing student for the batch 2019-2021, Signdha Mishra, for the batch of 2022-23 Gadigopula Bindu Priyala secured gold medals.
Similarly, Dr Vuppunuthala Ramakaladharku secured the Chennadi Marthanda Rao memorial gold medal in MD general medicine and cash prize of Rs one lakh.
The MBBS first year student of 2021-22 batch student Pusukur Gautami, 2022-23 first year student Patluri Sakshitha, 2023-24 student Pendli Prathima and 2024-25 first year student Ayesha Mahabinla secured Chennadi Marthanda Rao memorial awards and cash prize of Rs one lakh each.
PIMS principal Dr PL John Israel, vice Principal Dr Kishan Reddy, medical superintendent Dr CN Prasad, CAO Ramchander Rao, registrar Kalyan Chakravarthi and others were also present.
