JAGTIAL, MARCH 06, 2026: As per the directions of the Collegiate Education Department, the “Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika” programme initiated by the Government of Telangana from 06-03-2026 to 15-03-2026 was formally launched at the Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Jagtial. A large number of faculty members and students participated in the programme.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college, K. Ramakrishna, stated that the Government of Telangana is implementing the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika with the objective of promoting public welfare, transparent governance and comprehensive development. He mentioned that such awareness programmes are very useful in bringing various government welfare schemes closer to the people. He also advised students to develop awareness about government schemes and play an important role in spreading this information within society. As part of the programme, the college premises were cleaned today by the faculty members and students using brooms.
Vice-Principal G. Chandrayya stated that through the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika, government services would become more accessible to the public and that the programme would contribute to the overall development of society.
Faculty members V. Varaprasad,N. Vasavi, G. Ramachandram, S. Mallikarjun, NSS Programme Officer Srilatha, Kumari Neeraja, D. Sujatha, Jamuna and others participated in the programme.
