KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 27, 2026: Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar has formally inaugurated the Lion Bomma Venkateshwar Block at Lions Club of Karimnagar Dr Bhaskar Madhekar Charitable Eye Hospital in Rekurthi of Karimnagar town on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister promised to provide a bus service from the Karimnagar RTC bus station to the Rekurthi Eye Hospital for the benefit of patients. He also assured assistance from the government and CSR funds for providing additional equipment in the hospital.
Hospital chairman Konda Venu Murthy, Lions club leaders S Kodandaram, Mora Badresham, Bomma Sriram Chakravarthy, Chidura Srinivas, Prakash Holla, T Muralidhar Rao, Bomma Pawan Kumar, K Anna Reddy and others were also present.
