KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 05, 2024: The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (KDCCB) Mankammathota branch in Karimnagar town has settled a claim under Pradhan Manthri Jeevan Jyothi Bima (PMJJBY) on Tuesday.
KDCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao handed over a cheque of Rs 2 lakh PMJJBY to a nominee of a customer who passed away. Bank account holder Nunavath Raju Laxmipur village on the outskirts of Karimnagar town. As he was covered in the life insurance policy of PMJJBY, the nominee Nunavath Lavanya was handed over Rs 2 lakh cheque.
On this occasion, Mr Satyanarayana Rao appealed to the customers to maintain sufficient balance in their accounts, those who opted for the insurance facility of PMJBY and PMSBY. He also informed the customers to opt for the insurance policy of very low premium amount. General managers B Sridhar and Md Riazuddin, Mankammathota branch manager Sangeetha and Field Officer Krishna were also present.
