
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 31, 2025: Students of Mahatma Jyotibha Phule Telangana Backwards Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society School in Mancherial district visited the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) in Karimnagar town as part of an ‘exposure visit’ under the PM Shri Scheme on Wednesday.
The students, along with their escorts, visited the Karimnagar DCCB, which has emerged as a model cooperative bank in the country for its reforms and customer-friendly services. The PM Shri schools (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) exposure visits are organised to enhance practical learning and broaden horizons.
On their arrival, General managers B Sridhar and Md Riyazuddin, along with Bank Financial Literacy Campaign counsellor Shiva and others, received the students and exposed them to the banking sector activities at the head office. The students were also exposed to core banking services at the main branch.
Students were enlightened about the importance of opening a bank account and savings for future requirements. They were also educated about the importance of using ATM cards and UPI services. The students were also educated about the importance of opening recurring deposit scheme accounts for more returns in the future. Main bank manager Prasoona and others were also present.
