Out of 404 participants, 263 candidates secured placements, including 80 from GDC for women in Jagtial town
JAGTIAL, APRIL 06, 2026: There was an overwhelming response for the Mega Campus Recruitment Drive organised by the Placement Cell of the Government Degree College for Women, Jagtial, on its campus on Monday.
Several leading MNCs participated through Lyros, including Tech Mahindra, Sagility, Digitide, and First Source Solutions. Other participating companies included LMS Corporate Tech Services Pvt. Ltd., Vaishnavi Technologies, Tall Bridge, TeamLease, Cogent, Muthoot Finance, Subhagruha Projects India Pvt. Ltd., and Merina Paints Pvt. Ltd., along with representatives from Magic Bus Task. Apart from the students of the host college, students from other colleges also participated in the campus recruitment drive.
Placement Officer G. Neeraja stated that a total of 404 job aspirants participated in the drive, out of which 263 candidates were selected. Among them, 80 students from Government Degree College for Women, Jagtial, were selected, which is a matter of great pride. Additionally, 20 students from other colleges were also selected.
On this occasion, the college Principal congratulated the HR representatives of the participating companies, the selected students of Government Degree College for Women, Jagtial, and other selected candidates from the Jagtial region, and presented them with appointment letters (offer letters).
The programme was attended by Principal K Ramakrishna, Vice Principal T. Pramod Kumar, G. Chandrayya, IQAC Coordinator N. Vasava, and faculty members V. Varaprasad, G. Ramachandram, S. Mallikarjun, V. Jamuna, and G. Srilata, among others.
