RAMAGUNDAM, MARCH 28, 2026: The ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of women’s restrooms under the CSR initiative of NTPC Ramagundam at the Two Town Police Station, Godavarikhani, was conducted on Saturday.
As part of this initiative, NTPC Ramagundam is supporting the construction of Women Rest Rooms across six police stations, with a total project cost of ₹75.00 lakhs. The project aims to enhance basic infrastructure and ensure better facilities, safety, and dignity for women personnel in the police force.
The programme was graced by the presence of Chandan Kumar Samanta, Executive Director (R&T), NTPC Ramagundam, and Ambar Kishor Jha, Commissioner of Police, Ramagundam. Bijoy Kumar Sikandar, HOHR, along with ACPs, DCPs, SHOs, and members of the CSR team, were also present on the occasion.
This initiative reflects NTPC Ramagundam’s continued commitment towards community development and its focus on creating inclusive and supportive infrastructure for women in essential services.
