
RAMAGUNDAM, NOVEMBER 01, 2025: NTPC Ramagundam hosted a One-Day Special Vendor Development Program for SC/ST & Women MSMEs and Vendor Meet on 1st November 2025, to deliberate on Sustainable Business Opportunities driving Future Growth for MSMEs and key processes of Contracts and Procurement in NTPC.
Mr Chandan Kumar Samanta, ED (R&T), all GMs, HODs, AGM (Vigilance), HOD (Safety) and other senior officials from NTPC Ramagundam graced the occasion and interacted with the vendors and SC/ST & Women Entrepreneurs. Amongst the NTPC officials, Mr Abdul Hasib Ansari, DGM (VDC) and Mr Nagapradeep (Sr. Manager-VPG Simhadri) joined the meeting virtually. Mr C Mallesh from Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI), Karimnagar, Mr V Suresh Babu (Zonal GM, NSIC) for AP & Telangana and Mr S Suresh (Head of NSSO, Hyderabad) also graced the occasion with their presence and addressed the gathering. N Sumathi, Asst. Director, MSME(DFO), Hyderabad, joined the meeting online. The event started with Vendor’s Registration and NTPC Geet, followed by a Welcome address by Mr Rakesh Anand, HOD(C&M),

ED(R&T) addressed the gathering with an incisive speech and emphasised NTPC’s priorities on the aspects of Safety, Quality and Timeline for execution of any Service and Purchase Contract. He also mentioned how the online Government-e-Marketplace portal has increased the procurement multifold since its inception. He also appreciated the increasing participation of SC/ST & Women MSEs Entrepreneurs and new prospective vendors.
The highlight of the event was an insightful presentation on key aspects of Contracts, Procurement Process and Stores processes by P. Sivakumar, DGM (C&M) and Ms Aman Pandey, Sr. Manager (C&M), from NTPC Ramagundam. Abdul Hasib Ansari, DGM (VDC, Raipur) , enlightened the gathering with key functions and processes of the Vendor Enlistment portal of NTPC. Sahil Sharma, GEM trainer, delivered the presentation on GEM registration and the Bid participation process for suppliers on GEM.
V Suresh Babu (Zonal GM, NSIC), Suresh (Head of NSSO, Hyderabad) and M Sumathi, Asst. Director, MSME(DFO), Hyderabad, also addressed the gathering with their keynote speeches and presentations and apprised the gathering with details of NSIC registration and various schemes related to NSIC. Sumathi, Asst. Director, MSME(DFO), Hyderabad, addressed the gathering virtually with her informative speech on MSME Entrepreneurs and various schemes for MSEs.
The event concluded with an open house discussion with vendors, wherein various queries and concerns of vendors were smoothly resolved by C&M executives on a positive note as per extant NTPC Policy guidelines.
