
PEDDAPALLI, SEPTEMBER 16, 2025: On the occasion of World Ozone Day 2025, NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana organised a mass plantation drive on Tuesday near Kakatiya Function Hall in Permanent Township in Ramagundam.
The programme commenced with a ceremonial plantation by Chandan Kumar Samanta, Executive Director (R&T). Senior officials including Mukul Rai, GM (O&M); Telangana STPP; Manish Agarwal, GM (O&M), RSTPS; Binoy Jose, GM (Projects), Avijit Datta, GM (Maintenance), along with other NTPC R&T officials, actively participated in the initiative. Representatives from the Union & Associations were also present on the occasion.
The initiative stands as a testimony to NTPC’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, ecological harmony, and community well-being. It serves as an inspiration to one and all to join hands in nurturing nature and shaping a cleaner, greener, and brighter tomorrow.
Engineers’ Day Celebration at NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana
The Engineers’ Day celebration was organised by NTPC Executive Association R&T at Ramagundam & Telangana on 15th September. The event was graced by Ambar Kishore Jha, Police Commissioner, Ramagundam as the Chief Guest, and Sh. C.K. Samanta as the Guest of Honour.
The programme was led by Niteesh Kumar, General Secretary, NEAR, and Mahendra Kumar, President, NEAR, along with other office bearers of the association. The Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and General Secretary addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of engineers in nation-building and NTPC’s contribution to sustainable growth.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant cultural program, featuring a Kuchipudi dance performance by young girls, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
