
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18, 2025: The sixth day of the National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp at the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College, Nagunur, Karimnagar, was successfully concluded. The camp is being jointly organised by the NSS unit.
As part of the day’s community service activities, NSS volunteers visited Sri Annapurna old age home. They distributed fruits and blankets to the elderly residents, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility and compassion.
The event saw the participation of key college staff, including the College Principal T. Malathi, Vice Principal S. Padmaja, NSS Programme Officer and Head of the Microbiology Department K. Geetha Rani, Senior Faculty K. Radhika, and all NSS volunteers.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal T. Malathi emphasised that the primary objective of NSS is to instil a sense of service in students, thereby shaping them into responsible citizens. She praised the volunteers for their dedicated efforts.
