JAGTIAL, MARCH 27, 2026: Volunteers of the NSS Unit-4 from the local Sri Raja Rajeshwara Government Arts and Science College are conducting a seven-day special camp in Mothe village, Ramadugu Mandal. On the fourth day of the camp, marking the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, service activities were organised at various Rama temples.
Additionally, volunteers reached out to the local community in the streets to explain the importance of the upcoming Census. They highlighted that:

The delimitation (reorganization) of constituencies is also decided based on these census figures.
Therefore, every citizen must mandatorily provide their details to the enumerators.
The program saw the participation of the village’s first citizen and Battini Bhavani Praveen Kumar, Vice Sarpanch Kummari Anil Kumar, Gram Panchayat Secretary Bobby, Primary School Headmaster V. Laxman Kumar, Venkateshwarlu, Anganwadi teachers, village youth, and educationists.

Following the lunch break, Professor Vasala Varaprasad from the Government Women’s Degree College, Jagtial, addressed the gathering. He stated that if NSS volunteers set a noble goal and follow the ‘PEAL’ mantra, they can effortlessly achieve even the greatest objectives. He broke down the acronym as follows:

During the event, NSS Program Officer Padala Tirupathi introduced Vasala Varaprasad as a distinguished Hindi poet, writer, and a leader with great vision. Following this, the Programme Officer and NSS volunteers honored the professor with a shawl.
