
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 19, 2025: The seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp, organised by the NSS wing of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) Women’s Degree College, Nagunoor, concluded with a grand ceremony on Friday.
Principal T. Malathi praised the NSS volunteers and the programme officer for their dedication. She highlighted that participation in social service activities through NSS helps students develop leadership qualities and improve their future planning skills.
NSS Programme Officer K. Geetha Rani noted that the camp instilled a sense of responsibility towards the environment, respect for culture and traditions, and a better understanding of people’s living conditions among the students.
The event was attended by Principal T. Malathi, Vice Principal S. Padmaja, NSS Program Officer K. Geetha Rani, Superintendent T. Suresh Kumar, NSS Advisory Committee members G. Vasumathi and V. Ambika, senior faculty members Erroju Venkateshwarlu, K. Radhika, and M Radhika, Physical Director Parveen Begum, and the NSS volunteers.
