RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, FEBRUARY 21, 2026: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the Government Degree College in Gambhiraopet of Rajanna-Sircilla district conducted a free medical camp in association with the Prathima Foundation and doctors of PIMS as part of their ongoing NSS special camp on the fourth day in Dammannapet village on Saturday.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Village Sarpanch Dumpala Chandrasekhar Reddy and Vice-Sarpanch Amit Fasha. The PIMS doctors of various specialities, including Dr Sreekar (General Surgery), Dr Shivani (Ophthalmology), Dr Venu (Orthopedician), Dr Tejasree (Gyneacologist) and their paramedical staff, treated over 250 villagers and distributed medicines free of cost.


The Village Sarpanch, Vice-Sarpanch, and villagers expressed their special thanks to the NSS Programme Officer Paka Dharmapuri, the College Principal V Vijaya Lakshmi, and Pratima Foundation Manager Vanga Geetha Reddy, doctors from various departments and their team, ward members, the village secretary, college faculty members, and villagers, all of whom contributed to the success of the programme.
