KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24, 2025: The National Service Scheme (NSS) department of Vivekananda Degree and PG college, Karimnagar town, celebrated the NSS 56th formation day by participating in the plantation of saplings on its premises on Wednesday.
Principal Ch Srinivas planted the sapling along with the volunteers. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Srinivas called upon the volunteers to rebuild the society with their social service activities. NSS Programme Officer Dhanapuri Sagar said that the basic aim of NSS is to inculcate social welfare thoughts in the students and to provide service to society without any prejudice. NSS programme officers Bairam Mahesh, Nalla Srinivas, ACO B Sampath Kumar, AO B Sravan Kumar and others were also present.
