
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 11, 2024: The Combined Annual Training Camp of National Cadet Corps 9 Battalion Telangana, an annual training activity, concluded at St George International School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town on Friday (October 11, 2024).
The camp has been in progress since October 2, 2024. A total of 562 cadets from the integrated Karimnagar district participated in the camp. NCC Commanding Officer of 9 Telangana Battalion Colonel Daniel Lotzem inaugurated the camp and exhorted the cadets to grab the opportunities offered by NCC.
During this camp, the cadets were exposed to the regimented life of the soldiers. Besides, rudiments of military-like drill, physical fitness, weapon training, map reading and other activities. The cadets were exposed to the social issues to fight against the drug menace. The camp commanding officer Col Daniel appreciated the enthusiastic participation in camp training activities.
On this occasion, Colonel Daniel Lotzem felicitated the Chairman of St George School P Fathima Reddy with a memento and shawl for hosting the camp. Mr Reddy stated, “NCC inculcates discipline and various skills in students. We’re delighted to host this camp for 562 cadets, where students excelled in drill, map reading, firing, social activities, training, and cultural activities.”
The event was attended by ADM Officer Rakeshwar Jaswal, S.N. Sagar Singh, PI Staff, ANOs and others.
